English and Computer Classes

Manna4life has been operating English classes and computer classes since 2011. Classes are not limited to school age students, with people  of all ages from the  village and surrounding community attending.

English Classes
The English classes have grown from just a handful of students in 2011, to five classes which serve over 130 students. A designated program is used for the primary school aged students called “Let’s Go” and the "Headway" program is used for the older or more advanced students.  These classes are also being incorporated into our new primary school.

Computer Classes
There are currently two computer classes running each day, with a total of 45 students.  The students are taught Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Photoshop. The local high school does not provide computing classes, so without our classes these students would be drastically under-prepared for the workplace in this age of technology.

We are currently in the process of incorporating the computer class into our primary school. We hope to implement this at the beginning of the 2017 school year in order to engage the students with computer technology at an earlier age.
